When you connect a Google Workspace or Gmail account to Métier, we request only the Google permissions needed to provide the email features you choose to use. These permissions allow Métier to identify the connected Google account, send user-approved email from that account, and read Gmail messages and threads needed to identify and display replies to conversations initiated through Métier.
Google user data we access. Depending on the features you use, Métier may access your Google account email address, Gmail message and thread metadata, and the content of messages and replies associated with conversations handled through Métier. Métier does not use Gmail access to browse or ingest your entire mailbox for unrelated purposes.
How we use Google user data. We use this data only to provide and improve user-facing Métier functionality, including sending messages you approve, linking replies to the appropriate CRM conversation or customer record, displaying those replies in Métier, and supporting related productivity features you choose to use.
Storage and security. OAuth credentials are stored server-side and are not exposed to the browser. Access to stored OAuth credentials is restricted to authorized server-side services. Métier may also store message metadata and message or reply content that is needed to maintain CRM conversation history and provide the features described above.
Service providers and AI features. We do not sell Google user data or use it for advertising. We may transfer Google user data to service providers only when necessary to provide or improve user-facing Métier functionality and subject to contractual confidentiality and security obligations. When AI-assisted features are enabled or used, relevant email text may be processed by our AI subprocessor, Anthropic, through its API solely to provide those Métier features. Google Workspace API data is not used to develop, improve, or train generalized or non-personalized AI or machine-learning models.
Disconnecting and deletion. You may disconnect Google from Métier at any time from the Connections area in your workspace or by revoking access in your Google Account. Disconnecting removes Métier's stored OAuth credentials and stops future Google API access. CRM conversation records that were previously stored in Métier remain subject to the account retention and deletion terms applicable to your Métier workspace.
Métier's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
From time to time, the Company may contact you via email for the purpose of providing announcements, promotional offers, alerts, confirmations, surveys, and/or other general communication. In order to improve our services, we may receive a notification when you open an email from the Company or click on a link therein.
